SL-Laser has taken digital tempating to the next level with the ProCollector LT. Designed for companies that don‘t need the full 3D capabilities of the original ProCollector L, the ProCollector LT lets you scan a 2D plane and create DXF files for wood, stone, and solid surface fabrication.

The ProCollector LTsaves you money by eliminating the cost of purchasing, transporting, storing and shop-digitizing hard templating materials.

The ProCollector LT can be used in either the manual “Point & Shoot” mode or the motorized “Hands-Free” mode. Point & Shoot is the simplest way to use the ProCollector LT- just level the tripod, set the height and start collecting measurement points with the trigger button.

In Hands-Free mode, the ProCollector LT is driven by the joystick on the ProCommander Handheld Controller. This allows greater accuracy than hand-driven templating devices as it eliminates any unintentional user movement of the device. In this mode the user can also auto-scan a surface at a preset interval to quickly scribe a wavy backsplash or sheetrock wall.

When scanning cabinetry for countertops, height can be automatically adjusted to hit cabinet face frames and backsplash walls without raising and lowering the tripod. This eliminates any risk of tripod movement in the middle of the templating project.

The ProCollector LT system is controlled using the lightweight, ergonomic wireless ProCommander handheld. With an intuitive interface and eight hours of rechargeable battery life, the ProCommander shows you a graphical illustration of the points as they are measured.  The finished drawing is saved as a DXF file and ready to import into your CAD software.
